We live in a visual age and are surrounded by logos, colours and images wherever we look. Branding and creating your own unique identity is crucial to the success of your Online presence. As a freelance web developer, often a part of my job is to come up with creative concepts, design logos and advise clients on the do’s and dont’s of good web design. Sometimes clients come to me with a pre-determined idea of what they are wanting and ask me to translate that into a fully functioning website. At other times I am asked to start from a completely blank piece of paper. And at other times its somewhere in between the two! Occasionally I am asked to re-create designs that leave a lot to be desired. I do try (very diplomatically!) to point this out to clients at the time, so please don’t be offended if this happens to you – I have your best interests at heart and want your project to be successful.
I am no university trained graphic designer (…not that I feel it’s neccessary) but I do feel that I have an artistic flair …with my background in sound and lighting for concerts, live gigs and events spanning my earlier years. However sometimes I must admit I can struggle for inspiration, so it is fortunate that I do work closely with a couple of very talented local graphic designers that I can call on when needed! So, whatever the project – large or small – drop me a line and I will see if I can help! You can call me on 07725 547 889 or click here for the full contact details.
