I am an avid Formula 1 fan and have watched pretty much every race live for the last 20 years. I was absolutely gutted to hear last week Friday that as of next year coverage is to be split between BBC and Sky Sports. The BBC will only be screening 10 of the 20/21 races and will only be showing a highlights program for the others. That means that if you are a fan and want to watch every race (like me) you will be forced into spending £45 / month on Sky/Sky Sports subscriptions… further lining Rupert Murdoch’s already bloated pockets!
